  • Hard fought victory for football team in gathering gloom

    Tue 01 Dec 2009
The football team played Shillingstone in the Davison Cup area semi-final last week. It was a great game with both teams passing and tackling with skill and commitment. The score was 0-0 at the end of full time and extra time was played with the light fading and the prospect of penalties by torchlight. With only 2 minutes to go Jordan Allen popped up in the area to steer the ball into the net and give us victory. Well done to all the squad. We go through to the area final.

This years main focus is Cyberbullying: the use of technology; particularly mobile phones and the internet, deliberately to upset someone else. This is an issue that may affect some of our older children now and maybe affect others in the future. Each class will approach the topic in an age related manner.

They think you should know more about cyberbullying and the dangers of social network sites so they're going to plan some talks for parents and children to learn together.
