Homework will given to children on a Friday. It is usually related to the learning that we have explored in the week, it will mainly be maths for this term, with topic work as well. It will be matched to your child's ability. Please hand it in as soon as you are ready, the deadline will be the following Friday.
Children will also receive spellings on a Monday and be tested Friday that week.
We also encourage all the children to read as often as they can. We have a reading race which allows the children to move along the Woodpecker tree, and a reward is given at the end of the term for the child who has read the most!
