We have had a brilliant week so far. Sailing on Monday was brilliant fun and Tuesday we made our own boats with the Polar explorer programme and Dr Jackson. We sailed them during our swimming lesson and some of us got to sit in them! Great fun!
Y6 Fun day
As part of our young enterprise project, the children made a profit of £210 at the school Fayre. They have chosen a bouncy castle and some fun games plus a little tea party. This will happen on the 3rd July. Well done to everyone and thank you for the donations.
Thank you to all those wonderful grandparents who joined us for the morning this week. We had so much fun and the children loved sharing their learning with you.
Keep checking the website for updates whilst we are at Brenscombe! Let’s hope the sun shines on us! With that in mind, don’t forget suncream!

Evacuee experience day.
I have arranged for us to spend the day at Nothe Fort, on the 23rd January, to experience life as an evacuee. More details to follow on our return to school. Children will need to be dressed up as evacuees, please don’t go to any expense, there are lots of ideas on the internet. It should be a fantastic experience and really help to engage the children in our new WW2 topic - ‘What was it like to be an evacuee?’
KS2 carol singalong- 6th December
The children were all amazing, well done KS2 and thank you to families for sharing the event with us.
