Stalbridge Primary School is a Church of England school, providing a Christian Ethos to all that we do. We work closely with the Salisbury Diocese and our local church. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum which includes spiritual and moral guidance for children of all faiths and those with none.
Everyday we worship together in assemblies, sharing stories, quiet times of reflection and stories from the Bible. Every fortnight, we visit our local church and worship together there. All members of the school and local community are invited to join in with us.
We also recognise and reflect upon key events in other religions, teaching the children about mutual respect, love and tolerance.
Our curriculum provides opportunities to reflect upon the world around us, upon our selves and to ask those big questions about spirituality.
Church school inspections.
The Diocese inspect our school every cycle to evaluate our effectiveness. Our last inspection was November 2014, during which we were graded as a Good Church school. Click on th link below to read our report.
