Learning across the world - Global school's partnership project - Islamabad Imagine being able to talk to a child half way across the world about their experiences of school and the place they live in. That's exactly what happened for our School and Eco Council children on Wednesday. Mrs Lloyd, Mrs Bailey and the children made a skype call to the Imperial International School in Islamabad, Pakistan. The children shared their learning, gave the other school a tour of our school and asked them some questions. It was a fantastic opportunity. We are looking forward to our next projects with them. Well done to everyone involved.
Cake Sale Success Well done to the PTA for another great cake sale, which raised £140!
World Number Day All the children mixed together on Thursday to work on maths challenges. We were working especially hard to explain our learning and support our partners. It was a great opportunity for the teachers to spend time with different classes.
Litter in the Playground We've noticed an increase of wrappers and litter in our playground. We are asking all the children to make sure any rubbish goes into the bin straight away. Please help us to keep the playground tidy, including at the end of the school day. Thanks.
That's all our news for this week. Kind regards
Sarah Lafferty-Jenkins Headteacher
