Parents are welcome to arrive at 10.15am- leave at 12.00pm to allow the KS2 games to be set up.
Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) 1.15pm- 3.00pm
Parents are welcome to arrive from 1.00pm.
Smoking/Vaping is not allowed anywhere on site. We cannot accommodate dogs.
PE Kit
Children will need a sun hat, a bottled drink and their house colour t-shirt. They will need school PE shorts and trainers or daps. Children must have proper PE footwear to take part, not school shoes. Please ask your class teacher if you have any queries.
PTA Summer Fayre
This will start at 3.15pm straight after the KS2 Sports Day. Please do stay for some games and refreshments. The PTA would be very grateful of any cake donations for this event. Clubs will not run on this day.

The BIG ME day- Aspirations for the future
We had a great day thinking about our future selves. Well done to all who took part and thought about their aspirations. This event helped us to think about our value 'Aspire' but also helped to raise £140.95 for ActionAid, a charity which supports vulnerable children to have a better future.

New Entrants Wednesday 28th June 2-3pm
On Wednesday afternoon, we welcome in our new Reception class for a stay and play session.

Book Fair
Thank you to all those who came along and supported the Book Fair this week. Thank you also to Mrs Lisa Young of the PTA who helped to run it for us.

PTA Fun Swim
The PTA would like to thank those parents who came and swam at the first PTA fun swim session on Wednesday after school. The PTA hope to continue these sessions over the next few weeks and also over the summer holidays.

Grandparents in School
We had a lovely morning on Thursday. We were thrilled that so many Grandparents came in to see the school and share a reading activity with their Grandchildren. It was fantastic to see several old photographs of Stalbridge pupils from the past, displayed by the Stalbridge Archive group. Thank you very much to everyone who took part. Thanks to Mrs Rocheleau and all the staff, too.

Thought for the week
Every week, we have a special focus for thinking and prayer. This week, we are thinking about our aspirations. Our bible verse this week says;

"The Lord himself will go before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you or forget you. Don't be afraid. Don't worry."
Deuteronomy 31:8 International Children's Bible (ICB)

That's all our news for this week.
Kind regards

Sarah Lafferty-Jenkins
