We have been thinking about the word 'believe' for our school motto. Thank you for all the family work that you have been sending in. It's very interesting and inspiring to read. The children have carried out some lovely work in their classrooms too. All the work will be on display on Wednesday 7th December, during our Christmas craft afternoon. There is still time to complete your family beliefs. Please keep sending this in.

Santa Christmas Run Friday 16th December
On the last day of term, pupils are asked to dress in warm sports clothes and trainers for our Santa run. The children can wear their reindeer antlers, Santa hats or whatever they like. We aim to run 1k on the day. It helps us to remember to stay fit over the festive season.
Staying safe in the mornings
We must remind all parents to keep their children off the field and play equipment in the mornings. We do not use this at all when the weather is wet or frosty.
Cold weather- School closure procedure
We aren't expecting snow, though we must tell you about our procedure for school closures. We will decide by 7.30 am if the school must close. Following this decision, we will text a message out to all parents to inform you. We will also post a message on our school website front page. We must have an up to date mobile number for you.
Payments for child care Breakfast Club & After School Club
We must receive payment for any outstanding monies owing for Breakfast Club or After School Club this term. We will be getting in touch from next week to finalise this, should you owe us payment. From next term, payments must be paid in advance of the date booked. Please ask if you need further information.
Sports news- thanks to Ruby and Dominic for writing the pupil press this week.
At 3pm on Tuesday the 29th of November 10 amazing footballers got changed and left school to play an amazing match against Hazelbury Bryan. All players were ready and feeling excited - we started to warm up by passing, tackling and lots of shooting. The key word of the match was long shots.
The starting line-up was Dom in goal with Dylan in defence, on the left wing was Ellis and on the right was Thomas.s on the left. Ruby, Finn in midfield and Oscar, Ed were up front. So first half Finn scored in the first 10 SECONDS!!!!! But I won't be annoying because it all might change. Also there are lots of girls on this team so I'm very happy because of that and this team doesn't play very much either.
First half done Myles scored three Finn scored three Harleys scored one Ed scored one as well. So that means its 8/0 all ready to us. Second half started and Finn got another goal in and Ed did to then Myles scored another three .Then about 5 minutes left Ruby scored a cracking goal. Then in the last 30 seconds Oscar scored an amazing goal that zoomed into the back of the net like a rocket.
So winning 15/0 we were very pleased.
Big shout out to Mrs Lafferty Jenkins for being polite helping us through to hard situations at school and in some hard matches. For being an amazing coach and she will always be. she is the best. She is always by our sides and in school to, she is just fantastic.
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING MRS LAFFERTY JENKINS YOU ARE THE BEST.

Eco Club Recycling at Dikes
Our Eco club have organised a recycling point for Tassimo pods and the silver wrappers in Dikes car park. Please do make use of this. We also recycle biscuit wrappers, coffee lids and various other things at our school. Please call in to the office to find out more as every item we recycle will raise much needed funds for school.
Finally, thank you very much to Mr and Mrs Parker for arranging and delivering a wonderful Christmas tree for our hall.
That's all for this week,
