Parent's evening Tuesday 10th October and Wednesday 11th October
We are all looking forward to meeting with you to share the great work that your children have been busy doing this term. Please come to the front desk and go to the hall on Tuesday or Wednesday before your appointment. Your child's work will be available for you to view. Refreshments will also be available.

Sports Bronze Ambassadors
Well done to Ruby, Dominic, Herbie and Myles, who attended a sports ambassador's course in Shaftesbury on Wednesday. They will be working with the school council to organise new toys and games for playtimes.

Help us to win a playground.
We are competing with many schools to try and win a playground. All we need are as many votes as possible for our school before November 14th 2017. Please share this link with family and friends and help to spread the word!

October is walk to school month.
We want to encourage as many children and families to take up walking as a healthy activity. Next week, we will be talking to all the classes about how important walking is and recording how many children are able to walk to school. There is a fantastic app, details below, that can be used to share with your children.

Collections from school
We have message folders which go to each class at the end of the school day. These tell the teacher if there are any changes in who might be collecting your child. You must let us know if you have arranged for someone different to collect them. Please contact the office before 3pm to help us with this. Thank you.

Recycling
We are now able to send off our first batch of
old pens. Please remember to bring in any
biros and felt tip pens that no longer work.
Pens are one of several items we send off for
recycling and in return we get a donation for
school funds (biscuit wrappers, coffee jar lids,
washing up bottle lids etc (please see separate
posters for more information)
