Did you know that our Designated Leads for Safeguarding are Mrs Lafferty-Jenkins and Mrs Padfield. Mrs Lane is also fully trained. One of us is always available at school to talk to you. Please don't hesitate to make an appointment if you need to.

Bedtime Stories
We had a great time at bedtime stories last night. Thank you to all the children and parents who came. We want to say a very big thank you to Mr and Mrs Williams, Ms Sumner and Mrs Dike for your story telling sessions. Thank you to the PTA for serving refreshments and to the school staff who led. The children would like another book swap event after Christmas. Details to follow.

Wessex FM
Our School Council children will be interviewed on Monday by Wessex FM. We will let you know when the feature will be on air. Good luck to all the children. Please remember your permission slips/contact the office to provide permission.

Road Safety Week
We were visited by the Road Safety team this week. The children learnt a lot about how to be a quiet passenger, how to keep themselves safe in a car and as a pedestrian. Maisie and May have written an article about this, on the following page.

School Motto
You should find attached a letter about the work which we are doing on the word 'Believe'. Please look out for it on this email and return it to school (on the heart paper) with any ideas which you may have. The children will be exploring this next Thursday afternoon.
