Road Safety Week Monday 21st November - Friday 25th November
We are looking forward to welcoming a Road Safety police officer on Monday. He will be sharing his top tips for Road Safety. The children will also be telling you how to keep safe. One important issue will be the use of mobile phones behind the wheel, or when you are walking to and from school. We look forward to sharing our learning with you.
Each week, we will invite our children to report their news. Here's the first instalment
Stalbridge rugby match
On the 15th November a rugby match took place at Stalbridge Primary school consisting of Stalbridge vs. Hazelbury. Unfortunately we lost 7-5 but it was a very good match and we showed lots of teamwork.
Eight year fives stood out to try to win the match the team consisted of: marvellous Mya, challenging Charlie, Magnificent Myles, speedy Scott, terrific Thomas, charismatic Kiera, amazing Olivia and the team captain Joseph!
Before very long it was half time and with the encouragement of Joseph, Scott managed to score two tries and the score was three two. After half time Charlie scored, Olivia scored, and Myles scored they all got one each.
Even though we lost we had great fun and we all had biscuits afterwards and Hazelbury if your reading this thank you for coming to our school.
Written by players,
Mya Golden and Joseph Rocheleau.
